My family and I recently stayed at the Irma and attended the gun fight, we very much enjoyed both. My sons got some pictures of me with a gun fight saloon girl, everyone says I have the biggest grin they have ever seen on my face. Our vacation to Cody/Irma/Yellowstone was one of the best we can remember. We have all our pictures on the fireplace mantle. We hope to stay again someday.
Thanks Irma,
The Lambert Family

The Irma Hotel is by far the best place that I have ever stayed!! We had a girls weekend (there were 5 of us). We flew in from NYC. This hotel beats any 5-star Four Seasons or Trump Plaza from the friendliness of the staff to the food, drinks and the cleanliness of the hotel. It was a wonderful experience! I've traveled the world and there is no place on earth that beats this place!!! I LOVE THE IRMA!!!!!!!!!!
The girls from New York will be back :)

a post on the Wyoming Area Paranormal Society's website from an Irma guest.

My husband, daughter, and my self just spent last week at the Irma hotel in Cody WY. He found out that it was haunted but I wouldn't let him tell me about any of the happenings. I didn't want it to influence my visit to the hotel and if my daughter found out that the hotel was haunted she would not have wanted to stay there. On the first night my husband later told me that he heard a woman's voice call his name and then the bed started to shake as if a hand was gently shaking the bed. He mentally said "ok that is enough" and the shaking stopped. I woke to a strange sound like a yell or a cough but I did not feel the bed shaking so I rolled over and went back to sleep.
The next morning I was the first one up as usual and was in the bathroom getting ready. I was sitting on the toilet seat curling my hair looking at the slightly open bathroom door thinking about the day to come when the door was forcefully pulled shut. I did a double take then tried to figure out what could have caused the door to close on its own. That bathroom door was hard to close. I went back to getting ready for the day. I nearly dropped a bottle of make-up in the sink when a little timid, musical, female voice in my right ear said "Hello". Ok, that did it I had to get out of the bathroom. The rest of my family was still in bed asleep so I woke them up and got them moving so we could go get something for breakfast. While my daughter was in the bathroom getting dressed I told my husband what I had just experienced in the bathroom. This was when he told me about what had happened during the night. We stayed in room 71 for a total of six nights and heard a lot of noises and bangs as well as the sound of booted footsteps on wooden floors. We never felt threatened or frightened in any way. We loved our stay at the hotel and would do so again.
