The history of the Irma is such a treasure, and I am grateful to be a part of it. Loved everything about our stay in June 2009....the history and personality of the building, the old but extremely comfortable furnishings, the charm and character of the rooms, halls and dining area, and the friendliness always encountered at the Irma and in Cody in general. Loved the feeling of being back in time. The food and staff were wonderful. If you're expecting five star accomadations and luxury, then don't go to the Irma. But if it's history, charm and fun that you want, then the Irma and Cody WY are perfect for you. Stay in the historic section of the Irma and enjoy. We have an orb in two of our pictures. Remember to bring your old cowboy boots and hat! And ever since then I have frequently had dreams that I was staying there and discovered this hidden room. wow it is an awesome place that i dream about even to this day. I plan on going back there someday....
