I stayed in the Paul Stock, the "haunted" room. It was awesome. My twin sister, mother, and I all enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful and wonderfully maintained. Thanks for keeping up the place. We meant the nicest people who work there and made us feel very welcomed. Thank you to the woman who checked us in and gave us the Buffalo Bill Cody Suite it made our stay wonderful. She also took a warm liking to "our" Cody and treated him like a little king. What great hospitality we recieved. And cudos on the Prime Rib buffet. Can't wait to visit again. He lived in Powell until his death in 1954. His and his wife, Effie Jane Parsons Carpenter homesteaded in Deaver in the twenties and my mother, Marie Carpenter Wyman played with his daughter's (Irma Cody) children.
